I'm Pastor Dennis, one of God's messengers of hope, faith and joy for all those who are seeking something more in their lives.
At Community Presbyterian Church we believe in a joyful celebration of God because
LIFE IS TOO SHORT FOR
SAD FACED RELIGION!
The congregation of Community Presbyterian Church consists of Christians, young and old.
Among our members are people of various religious backgrounds and ethnicities.... people who choose to be together because we believe God wants us here. Our members and guests join in celebration of what we have in common,
Godʼs love and Godʼs promise of salvation.
MISSION CONTINUES
It's hard to stay hopeful and faithful with the state of the world today. A pandemic, unemployment, businesses closing and a government which at times seems to be in chaos. Community Presbyterian continues its work to take care of God's people as best we can.
Here's a list of our current mission projects.
PB&J Gang: Making approx. 600 PB&J sandwiches for local outreach
Hope for the Future: Feeding and clothing the homeless in NYC
Operation Christmas Child: Sending gifts and God’s love to children around the world.
Angel Tree: Holiday gifts for children of incarcerated parents
Back to School: Donating “back to school” supplies to needy children
El Salvador Mission: Supporting the building of a church in Escobal
Food Pantry: Ongoing support of Babylon food pantry, feeding over 120 local families per week
Appalachia Mission Trip: Repairing the homes of senior citizens
Thanksgiving Food Boxes: Giving complete Thanksgiving meals to needy families
Would you like to help with any of our mission projects? Please call....or maybe you would like to make a monetary donation. You can send a check to the church and put which project
